The usual recommended amount is: Ceremonial amount: 30–42g of unprocessed raw cacao per person. Daily supporting amount: 5–15g, for example in a smoothie or drink. We recommend starting with a smaller amount and observing how your body reacts.
How often can raw cocoa be consumed?
Raw cacao can be consumed in small amounts daily. We recommend a ceremonial amount (30–42g) no more than 1–2 times a week to avoid overstimulation.
Can pregnant or breastfeeding women consume raw cocoa?
We recommend consulting a doctor before use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Cocoa contains theobromine and caffeine-like compounds, which may affect blood pressure or sleep in certain cases.
Who should avoid consuming raw cocoa?
Raw cacao should be avoided or limited by: People with heart problems, high blood pressure, or caffeine sensitivity. Antidepressant users, as cacao contains MAO inhibitors. Children under 5 years of age, always consult a healthcare professional.
What effects can cocoa consumption have?
Cocoa can have the following effects: Invigorating and uplifting, thanks to theobromine and serotonin production. Connecting with the heart – ceremonial cocoa is often used in meditation and breathwork sessions. Some people experience mild dizziness, a feeling of warmth, or emotional opening. All of these are temporary and related to the natural compounds in cocoa.

How to store raw cocoa?
Keep cocoa dry, cool and protected from light. An airtight container works well. The best before date is indicated on the package, but the quality will last a long time if stored correctly.*
Is your raw cocoa tested for heavy metals?
Yes, our raw cocoa is laboratory tested and meets safety standards. Lead content is ≤0.35 mg/kg.
Why is it important to drink plenty of water when consuming cocoa?
Raw cacao contains natural ingredients (e.g. theobromine) that can act as a mild diuretic and stimulate blood circulation. Drinking enough water helps: Prevent mild headaches or dehydration, Support the body’s detoxification, Balance the stimulating effect and keep the body in a calm state. We recommend drinking at least 1.5–2 liters of water per day when consuming cacao.
Is your cocoa free of mold and mycotoxins?
Yes, our raw cacao is mold-free and also tested for mycotoxins. Because the cacao is fermented and dried with great care and stored under the right conditions, it is free from mold and dangerous toxins. We choose suppliers who adhere to strict quality standards and ensure the purity of the batches.
Where does your cocoa come from?
Our cocoa comes from two carefully selected regions: The Peruvian Amazon rainforest, where local farmers bring cocoa to collection points from their fields and jungles, The Sambirano Valley in Madagascar, a 42-hectare farm where cocoa is grown by hand and sustainably.
Does cocoa contain caffeine?
Cocoa contains a small amount of caffeine and more theobromine, which provides energy in a gentler and more sustained way than coffee.
How to make cocoa?
We recommend starting with: 30 g cocoa, 200 ml 40 degree water or plant-based milk, if desired, add spices (e.g. cinnamon, cayenne, cardamom) and a sweetener such as dates or honey Blender.

Deliveries are usually posted within 1-3 business days. In Estonia, the package generally arrives in 2-5 business days.
How long does cocoa last?
The shelf life is 12–18 months, but if cocoa is in an airtight package and does not come into contact with air, it will maintain its quality for years.
